Getting there and Roscoff terminal
The ferry departs from Port du Bloscon, east of the centre of Roscoff. From Rennes and Paris, take the N12 to Morlaix and then the D58 to Roscoff; from Brest and Quimper, the D69. You can park right in front of the terminal with a parking pass, applied for at the terminal, free for up to a week; free long-stay parking is available at the harbour entrance, with a small area for motorhomes opposite vehicle check-in. Foot passengers can walk into town in around 15 minutes, or in summer take the free Rosko Bus running every 15 minutes; bus route 29 reaches Morlaix, the nearest station with TGV connections, in 35 minutes. The terminal has free Wi-Fi, a cafe and coin-operated showers.
Check-in and departure
The check-in deadline for vehicles is shown on your e-ticket and depends on the product booked. Foot passengers must have checked in at least 60 minutes before departure, and travellers with a pet should arrive at least 90 minutes beforehand, as pet documents are checked. On board
The Armorique and the flagship Pont-Aven operate this route. For the day sailing, a reserved seat is enough; for the overnight crossing you book a cabin. Wheelchair-accessible cabins are available on all ferries, and pet-friendly cabins on some ships. Restaurants and bars are on board, and since March 2023 payment has been in euros only. Wi-Fi is available as a paid satellite package with limited speed.
Vehicle, bike and pet
Cars, motorhomes, cars with trailers and motorbikes can all travel, so give exact length and height when booking. LPG and LNG vehicles are permitted, and the gas system must be switched off before boarding; campervans may carry up to three gas cylinders totalling no more than 47 kilograms, secured and closed during the crossing. Electric vehicles cannot be charged on board. Bicycles and foot passengers can be booked if the booking shows the option for this route. Pets travel in the vehicle or in the onboard kennels; on the Pont-Aven you can reach the kennels at any time through a door with an access card given at check-in, otherwise one person per vehicle may visit the car deck for up to 15 minutes. Arrival in Plymouth and onward travel
In Plymouth, the ferry docks at Plymouth International Port in Millbay, signposted as the Continental Ferry Port. Disembarkation takes around 30 minutes on average, plus border control. Via the A374 you reach the A38 towards Exeter, where the M5 begins towards Bristol and the Midlands; towards Cornwall, continue west on the A38 over the Tamar Bridge. Foot passengers leave the ship via a gangway and reach the town centre in around 15 minutes; trains from Plymouth station take 3 to 4 hours to London Paddington, and the National Express coach station is around a 25-minute walk away. The port car park is operated by Parking Eye for ABP, best booked through the app for longer stays.

Today it links the Breton port of Port du Bloscon with Plymouth in Devon on most days from March to November: as a day sailing of around 5.5 hours, or as an overnight crossing taking up to 7 hours.
